A message from the
headmaster....
If
you have read the 'Information
about the School' page, we hope you will agree that we
are able to offer at Manor House School a successful and balanced
recipe for the education of today's child: tradition and innovation
working together to provide the very best. We cherish the
solid foundations and traditions upon which the school has
built its enviable reputation whilst at the same time embracing
the most successful of modern teaching concepts.
We cherish the school's ethos - good manners,
consideration for others, firm but fair discipline, attention
to appearance and caring atmosphere, supported by a well-established
pastoral system; its small teaching groups; its routine of
structured homework; and its close liaison with
parents through meetings, reports and newsletters.
We cherish too the excellent relationship we
have built up with all surrounding secondary schools, both
state and independent, resulting in an outstanding record
of successful placements to schools of pupils' first choice,
in an easy transition to those schools and in pupils finding
on arrival that they have been more than well prepared for
their new environment.
In short, we feel we have the right ingredients
to equip children with the education they deserve in the 21st
century.
...and an invitation
We hope you like what you read and will
want your child to be part of Manor House School's exciting
future. Please come and visit the school, meet the staff and
children and view the facilities. I would be delighted to
meet you and proud to show you around.
